Happy New Year!
Wooft. What a year, eh?
I do apologise that I let this little update/blog fall by the wayside over the last few months. I got busy & it got dark, which can make it a challenge for me to do this sort of thing.
Anyway, I hope everyone had a lovely festive season, here's an update on how things are looking on my end.
Raven's Meadow
My first 'bigger' game is very, very nearly done. I didn't get as much work done over Christmas as I'd hoped, but it's so close now I can taste it. I'm aiming to release it this weekend, but as ever, things may get in the way to prevent that. I'll make an announcement when it happens. Here's a sneak peak at the itch page for you!

Streaming
I'll be back on twitch from Monday 13th, which is a little later than I'd intended, but unfortunately I've been sick all this week, so really didn't feel up to it, & wanted to make a clean start back.
We should be able to continue as before, & hopefully without Christmas looming large before me & with the days technically getting brighter, I'll have a better chance at consistency.
I'm currently working on a sort of army simulator game, where you can command small battalions against one another in a mercenary-style campaign. Heavily influenced by a very old Warhammer game called Shadow of the Horned Rat.
Weekend Games
For the time being, I'm going to put a pin in the weekend games. If I ever get a full time job again, they'll likely come back as weekend streams on a more long-term scale.
That said, I'm not completely stopping everything at the weekends. I've got an idea for a short game I'd like to try, but which I don't want to stream the development of. I don't want to say toooo much about it yet, but the basic idea is that you'd be employed as a Black Hole Feeder on a space station somewhere in the vast empty expanse of the universe. What that entails, I'll leave a mystery for now.
Life
I'm doing ok. The world is a fairly shit place all round at the moment, but I'm hopeful that I can get something going in the near future that will bring me back up to a baseline.
Getting back to streaming, getting into a rhythm again, will hopefully provide the much needed mental kick up the rear that I need to get stuff over the line & make my portfolio impressive enough to justify my existence in this industry!
But maybe that's wishful thinking.
See you soon,
-Tim
